Required Skills:
•Ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge
or related networking disciplines
•The candidate must have extensive Cisco Network Engineering experience
with routers, switches, LAN, WAN, and dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP and
OSPF); 
•The candidate should have hands on network design/support experience and
5+ years Infrastructure Technology experience; 
•The candidate must have experience with WAN MPLS and WAN circuit
troubleshooting; 
•The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and
oral; 
•The candidate must have strong customer service skills and be able to
interface with customers and appropriate support groups to resolve complex
issues; 
•The candidate must work well within a team and adapt easily to change.

•Network Services background 
•Cisco Wireless or general wireless experience and certifications 
•Cisco firewall experience (ASA, PIX) 

Job Description:

This position will involve daily maintenance, support and operations of the
leveraged network design. Will operate corporate WAN and LAN infrastructure to
meet contractual SLAs, as well as maintaining SLA reporting platform and report
SLA metrics to client. Assist in project work for network transformation. And
support legacy network services including vpn and firewall services during
transition period. Candidate should be open to working occasional late weekday
or weekend hours to accommodate needs of the client. They will also work
rotational on-call once a month. 
Gather requirements, analyze technical networking issues and the develop options
and recommendations. Plan, design, install, and maintain local and wide area
networks.  Coordinate, install, and maintain appropriate systems software and
hardware.

Requires proven technical troubleshooting skills as well as developed customer
interaction experience. Prior position with experience in Network Design is
necessary. This position is also intended to assist in maintaining support
documentation so detailed documentation skills are required.
