looking for a VMS System Administrator to join our team.
Required Skills
•	OpenVMS, 5+ year experience in system administration with mission
critical systems
•	Knowledge of OpenVMS enterprise hardware and software systems
architecture and design including high availability clusters
•	Performance management and tuning 
•	SAN concepts and design 
•	Disaster Recovery design, implementation and testing 
•	Detailed knowledge and experience with the following products
specifically hosted on OpenVMS server systems: DECscheduler, TCP/IP services,
DECnet Phase V 
Design, coding and implementation of modular system support utilities and
scripts 
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
•	At least five or more years of experience working with the Meditech
Magic Operating System. Experience to include, but not limited to, knowledge of
how to configure and define Magic OS network settings, how to configure and set
daily automatic system backup settings, how to configure and setup PC’s,
printers, and lab instruments. Experience with daily support of those functions
is also required. Experience in trouble shooting Magic Operating Systems issues
and problems, including reported system degradation, client connectivity issues,
printing issues, etc. 
•	At least four or more years of experience working with Meditech Magic
server configurations. Including building and installing Meditech approved
configurations. 
•	Experience in installing and/or upgrading the Meditech Magic Operating
System on a OSAL or SMP configured system. 
•	Experience with restoring a failed system from the Meditech Magic backup
tapes in a disaster recovery situation. 
•	Experience with configuring, installing, and supporting IP based
terminal servers. Including, but not limited to the Xyplex, iTouch, and InReach
products
