Required Skills
Tivoli Storage Manager product
Unix and/or Windows systems administration
IP Network, WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup configuration
Virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Desired Skills
Customer service environment experience
Programming language
Storage hardware configuration
Veritas or other enterprise scale backup product administration
Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
Must have Titulo & Cedula
Tivoli certification (desired)
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for functions associated with maintaining the Host/Media Server
environment working with a network of TSM servers, managing server operations,
Automating server operations.
Managing the database and recovery logs, managing storage pool storage,
monitoring the TSM server.
Shall act as the first point of contact in the event a server or client question
or issue arises that Level I Administration cannot react to in a timely manner
