| The Specialist Support Engineer will receive escalations from and provide IT and
business expertise to resolve applications issues. Some of the responsibilities
include monitoring production environments and production schedules,
troubleshooting interface issues and addressing problem tickets, as well as
providing Follow the Sun support alongside with other teams in India. This
engineer will also maintain open communication channels with other support teams
and follow up and bring closure to code-changes, application corrections and
enhancements.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience with Apache
Good knowledge and understanding of Unix operating system Knowledge of CGI/Perl
Experience in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL) Experience with IIS Cold Fusion and Tidal
experience.
Knowledge of Linux, Visual Basic, Epiphany, , Data Warehousing and Shell
scripting
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Excellent problem
solving skills Previous experience supporting applications is highly desired
